Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Onne ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information. Onne is a desktop software application that interfaces with Google Workspace APIs. Our core philosophy is local-first computing; we minimize data collection to the absolute zero required for functionality.

2. Data We Process

When you authenticate Onne using your Google Account, the application requests access to specific APIs (Calendar, Tasks, Keep, Gmail). The data retrieved from these APIs is processed exclusively on your local machine. We do not operate any backend databases, analytics engines, or relay servers that intercept your personal Google data.

3. Google Workspace APIs

Onne's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Authentication Tokens

Your OAuth2 authentication tokens (access and refresh tokens) are encrypted and stored locally on your device's filesystem. We do not transmit these tokens to any external server.

5. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. Because we do not collect your data on our servers, it is physically impossible for us to share it with third parties.

6. Revoking Access

You can revoke Onne's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account Security settings page and removing Onne from the list of apps with access to your account. Upon revoking access, Onne will immediately cease to function and will delete local caches upon the next launch.

7. Contact

For privacy-related inquiries, please ensure you review our public repository documentation or contact the maintainer directly.
